I don't think I can even begin to explain how thrilled I am that June is finally here. After 10 months of waiting, the month of our wedding has arrived! Amongst all the other events occuring in my life, I have this overwhelming sense of calm as I take on each day knowing that I'm so much closer to marrying my best friend. It's funny, lately I've found myself not making as many lists, not stressing over errands to be run, or worrying about rsvps for the wedding. Zach and I have been living each day to it's fullest; taking more time to cherish our relationship and knowing everything will turn out just fine. It is when I embrace the present that I acknowledge how fortunate we are to have found each other and have this amazing life together.
Hanging out with friends and family always makes me feel this way as well and we've been doing our best to keep up with our social life. This week we were lucky to grab dinner with one of our newer friends, Neil, at Rose's on Reed's Lake. If you are ever in the Grand Rapids area, this restaurant has one of the best homemade root chips that I have ever had! Afterwards, Zach pointed out that we had just enough light for a few pictures. What a sweetheart. :)

This romper is yet another thrifted find. I wasn't sure about it at first and the comments from Zach didn't help either, but after pairing it with a belt I decided it was a keeper. Does anyone else like sporting rompers? I feel like it is one of those items that people either love, hate, or just don't get. It's definitely an outfit I'll be wearing a lot this summer if it gets super hot!
What is your go to outfit for those sweltering summer days?

ReplyDeleteOther Confession: Yours looks really cute and I kind of like it.... a lot. I am not yet going to try one for myself, but you look great it it. I love the romantic feel of the lighting, too, so he pointed out a perfect time to take photos. (: Can't believe your wedding is so close!
