Flying back into Grand Rapids yesterday, Zach and I were overcome with a sense of peace and relief. As much fun as we had out west in San Francisco, Monterey, and Big Sur; nothing beats coming home...especially as a married couple!
Our wedding was beyond perfect and we could not have asked for a better night for it.
No rain, warm weather, and a beautiful sunset on Lake Michigan. Surrounded by the company of our loved ones, I wouldn't want to celebrate this new beginning any other way. The night flew by; leaving us with sand in our shoes, huge grins on our faces, and joyful hearts. All our vendors did an amazing job and I can't wait to share more about them later...as well as flaunt all the beautiful photos that Bryan and Mae took!
But for now, here are just two pictures from our wedding to taken by our friends Joe and Carl.
The view from the deck. Stunning.
Our first dance together. Bright Eyes, "First Day of My Life."
Zachary is so handsome.
Also want to give a shout out to all my amazing guest bloggers! Thanks for all your help and allowing me not to worry about my blog when I was away on our honeymoon. If you haven't seen their posts, be sure to go check them out! Hopefully I'll be posting more wedding/honeymoon updates in the upcoming weeks.
In between catching up with work and closing on our first house, I'm sure I'll find time. :)

ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Laineyface. It's also precious seeing Zach's mom beaming in the background.
ReplyDeleteKate!! You looked absolutely GORGEOUS. I am sort of obsessed with your wedding dress. It's such a perfect mix of classy, and elegant, but still simple and not over the top. I'm seriously in love.
